Seventie’s throwback that I couldn’t put down

Cynthia is a heartwarming trip down memory lane in so many ways. The clothing, the music, the setting, the culture . . . everything in this story is infused with seventies nostalgia. The way the author places you into the lives of the characters, showing layers of personalities, their good and not so good traits, makes not only the main character Cynthia, but also the many supporting characters come to life. The relationships between the strong women in three generations of this family reminds me of some of my favorite people in my own family. I absolutely loved the grandmother and her snap-to-it attitude.
Jessica Marie Holt writes a story that keeps you turning the page. Great job!
