Did you know I do ebook and book covers??

https://www.facebook.com/groups/199569182591200/?ref=share_group_link

I do my best to share a new e-book design everyday and every two weeks I share up to five never before seen ebook designs here.

https://sharingiscaringbookblog.wordpress.com/sharing-is-caring-ebook-covers-by-dawn-2/

In fact here is another never before seen cover:

**New never before seen cover**

Plus here are a few ebook covers and book covers (The Goodbye Heart is a book wrap) I have designed.

I have more designs and those are in the author’s hands but can not be shared at the time. It’s so exciting and something I love doing.

I know this is a short and sweet kinda post but I feel like there are so many wonderful authors that don’t know about my services and I would enjoy assisting you.

An interview with myself…

~So can I talk about things I know?

Yes I can and for hours!

~Like how much graphic design skills do I have?

I’d love to answer, over 20 years of experience, and this is also my day job. Book cover design is newer for me though and I’m learning new things every day.

~How long do I take on a design?

I do my best to stick to a 3-day turnaround (or less, normally much less), however, that’s giving me extra time in case an emergency arises. Social media posts take less time than book cover designs.

~How many book layouts will I create for the author’s request?

Always three, then will talk about what you like and don’t like and revisions can be made.

~Are constant revisions a pain in the bottom side?

Absolutely NOT!! I want those that I assist to receive the book cover that they see in their mind and to love what I create for them.

~Is it okay for you not to like what I create and will it hurt my feelings?

It is okay if you don’t like what I do that is why I do proofs. My style may not be a style you like and that is okay my feelings have got a big callous over them about artwork and design and I wish you nothing but the best in finding the book cover artist of your dreams.

*** If you have a question for me I’d love to answer… give me a comment or shot me a Facebook pm.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me today.

What’s On The Share? Laugh-Out-Loud Books!!

So this week there has been more stress than usual since we have had crazy cold weather. Stay-at-home kinda weather. Now I don’t mind cold weather, plus love wearing sweaters. But I don’t like freakishly cold freezing weather. It’s a little fiction in Southwest Louisiana… so I asked for book recommendations for Laugh Out Loud books. See the books recommended below:

Recommended by the wonderful Teresa Smyser and Jody Reich.

Humorous Romance From a Bestselling Author

“Big Tim” Creighton, however, is appalled when this mincing fop arrives at Forsaken. He determines he’ll turn Fancy Pants Hathwell into a man before the boss returns home. From the get-go, he has “the kid” mucking stalls, clearing and plowing a field, and assisting with a difficult calving. But when Sydney’s true identity is uncovered, Tim resents being deceived. Yet in time, he also finds that he doesn’t like all the attention Sydney garners now that she’s wearing pretty gowns…

Together Sydney and Tim will discover the importance of family and what it means to be a man–and a woman–of God.

First Fall is a short prequel to the Tammy Mellows Trilogy, set a few years before the start of Reckless Beginnings, when Tammy was 10 years old.

Having two older twin sisters, Donna and Jenny, Tammy learned to grow a tough skin at an early age, and with her father often out of town on business, Tammy soon discovered she’d have to fight her battles with her sisters alone.

Their mother Rose struggled to maintain their father’s strict rules when he was away, but no matter how hard she tried to stand firm, her three girls became experts when it came to getting their way.
Tammy took advantage of these times, knowing her mom would eventually give in if she were persistent enough.

What was supposed to be just a joyful bike ride was Tammy’s beginning in lessons learned.
Rules were broken.
Bad choices were made.
Feelings of regret weighed heavily on her mind.

This was her “First Fall,” but sadly not her last, as we will discover in The Tammy Mellows Trilogy – a riveting collection of mistakes made, battles conquered, and lessons learned that most can relate to on this journey we call life, which were based on true events.

The prequel also includes the Prologue, as well as Chapter 1 from Reckless Beginnings – The Tammy Mellows Trilogy Book 1.

It all started with a hike…

Cady Jackson’s vacation plans were simple. Go to Yellowstone National Park, enjoy the scenery, take lots of pictures. She and her cousin, Ashley, have grown up in a strict, conservative Christian family in upstate New York. Cady has never been encouraged to spread her wings. This trip is an opportunity to do so. Only, she doesn’t know how much her life is about to change when she has an unfortunate encounter in the middle of nowhere. Why would God take a personal interest in someone like her?

Grant McClintoch generally loves his job as a ranger in the oldest national park in the country. That it includes rescuing stranded visitors to the park is unfortunate. He has been trying to rebuild his life after it had nearly been destroyed. Grant doesn’t realize that God isn’t done with him yet when he stumbles onto an injured hiker. But can he place his past in God’s capable hands where it belongs?

Who knew concealing one’s true identity could be so disastrous?

Who knew asserting one’s independence would cause such embarrassment? If only Almira “Emilie” Crawford Wheeler hadn’t insisted upon carrying her own stack of parcels, she wouldn’t have landed in an unladylike heap on the boardwalk. And what about the half-truth she told the handsome stranger who came to her aid? The stranger she never expected to see again?

Thad Alexander Evanson should have been paying closer attention to the boardwalk, rather than the newfangled automobile motoring down the street. Had he been more astute, a collision with the beautiful parcel-laden stranger might never have happened. And if it never had happened, he wouldn’t have told a partial-truth he figured wouldn’t matter.

Before long, Emilie and Thad are arranging to meet for a noonday meal each weekend in Missoula under the guise of different names. But what happens when their true identities are revealed? When half-truths are exposed? Could God have a plan even in the midst of a tangled web of lies?

Samantha Barry decides to leave Rhode Island and return to her hometown of Hummingbird, Colorado. The reason for her move—her dad has retirement on his mind and wants his daughter to take over his handyman business. She makes the move.

Nathan Sherman, Sam’s boyfriend of two years, agrees to relocate to Colorado in a few months. But his move to the small town takes more time than first expected. Another problem arises, she takes over her dad’s business, renaming it Pigtails and a Tool Belt, and the phones stop ringing.

Samantha prays about her lack of business and comes up with a plan. She places a Help Wanted ad in the local newspaper. Imagine her shock and amazement when the first person to apply is her ex-fiancé, Zach Bender.

She agrees to meet him (along with her father). Sparks fly, but not in a good way. He brings her flowers. Sam’s ready to give him a piece of her mind, but hears her dad say instead, “If she’s not going to hire you, I will.”

Thank goodness he took the job. Two days later she injures herself. With one arm in a sling, Samantha has to let go, and let others help her out. This seems to work for a while, but after countless phone calls from her boyfriend, and more gifts from her ex-fiancé. Sam’s not so sure.

Sam begins to wonder if her ‘happily ever after’ will happen. Or is she finding the Lord has other ideas and her true love has been there all along?

This sequel to The Whispering of the Willows is set in the late 1920s’ Appalachia, where granny witches and spiritualism often show the path for wanderers to take, especially in matters of the heart.

This Big Creek sequel follows the lives and loves of two siblings. Coral determines to visit the family’s nemesis, Charlie, now in prison for the rape of her sister, Emerald, and the murder of her inlaw. When Mercy re-enters brother Ernest’s life, he has already found a new attraction in his elder brother’s widow.

Coral sat in contemplation under a mulberry tree. It was spring, and the fragrant female blossoms promised the mid-summer arrival of first white, then pink, then crimson, and finally deep purple berries. The white berries were hard and tart and enjoyed by the quail, wild turkeys, mocking birds, and blue jays. The blackish purple berries were soft and sweet – perfect for pies and jams.

When the berries turned white, Coral would thank the good Lord for providing food for the birds. When the berries ripened she would thank the good Lord for the sweetness savored in her mouth and curse the birds for wanting more than their share.

Where Emerald Ashby’s story leaves us in the last pages of The Whispering of the Willows, sixteen-year-old Coral Ashby’s story begins. Like the changing mulberries, Appalachian siblings Coral and Ernest Ashby, navigate life through the late 1920s. Coral is determined to visit the family nemesis, Charlie, who now stews in prison.

When Ernest’s previous love interest, Mercy, returns to the holler of Big Creek, she discovers that his heart is now singing a melody for Charlotte, the older Ashby brother’s widow. But Mercy has brought along her own spiritual tools and a special friend who guides her way.

Accompanied by friends and foes, matters of the heart complicate life for Coral and Ernest. Relationships must be journeyed carefully.

Sometimes a detour takes you exactly where you need to be.

Piper Cope was so sure the Lord called her to be a pastor’s wife. So when her pastor/fiancé breaks it off, she’s every kind of puzzled. Does God even have a purpose for her anymore? On the road halfway between the bridges she’s burned and some kind of new start, she encounters the most unexpected detour. She swerves on a rainy road to miss a turtle and ends up in a ditch with an airbag to the face. Now stuck in this little town, she wonders how in the world she could’ve gotten her God-signals so very crossed. And how in the world is she supposed to know what He wants her to do now? In the meantime, at least the community center guy, Jay Marler, has her working a temporary job there. Problem is, somehow she’s coaching a children’s basketball team. She does not…basketball. And she certainly does not children.

I love this author… I need to re-read this book.

But first his Christian duty demands that he marry his sister-in-law. After all, Sophie needs someone to protect her – right? Faith and love help unruly wed newlyweds find common ground and a chance at love on the Texas frontier.

Review:

An exceptional and enjoyable western historical! The story simply pulls you in and keeps you riveted to the very end. The characters are a delight and so very believable. ENJOY!

Quote from the Book:

Rose took in a deep breath to steel herself. “There’s something you must know, Aunt.”
“Wait until the Pattersons are here,” her aunt said. “I can only take shocks in small doses. I am old, dear, but I’d like to enjoy a few more years.”

I just finished Capture a Heart of Stone by Teresa Smyser. What a wonderful book! I was pulled into the story from the first page. There was action, adventure and romance. The world building and character development were detailed and believable. The female lead was a strong character by necessity, and led by example. The strong male lead went through foundational changes throughout. I loved that God was part of the story. Altogether a fabulous read that I highly recommend.

Quote from the Book:

Quote by Pippa: “God alone controls my destiny and breathes His breath into my body. When He ceases, I return to dust.”

“Ok, so hear me out…this is most definitely a mystery…just the most hilarious one I have EVER read. The puns, the wit, the grit, OH MY! If you are looking for what seems to be a Covid inspired story with all the belly rolls you can muster, don’t delay, read this mystery TODAY! I’m still chuckling, even as I write this.”

Quote from the Book:

“I have seventy dollars. Do I hear seventy-five?” Hank Snodgrass, Backwoods Barn Auction’s newest auctioneer, smoothed his colorful tie and relaxed his linebacker body.
His assistant, Evelyn, smiled and pointed at the yellowy-brown, bauble bracelet displayed on the table.
Eww. No way! Trixie swigged her water and replaced the cap on the plastic bottle. Why would anyone want to buy a bracelet crafted out of earwax?

Loved it!

This story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. The author told a good story during the war, showing the unfortunate endings for some and the happy endings for others. It is a sweet love between Becky and Henry, rekindling between sisters, and the true meaning of family, which can consist of those not blood related. Excellent!

Quote from the Book:

“The daily struggle wasn’t so much the physical labor of harvesting the fields, loading bundles of wheat, tending livestock, canning vegetables, making jam, and caring for children. It was in the unthinkable unknown that hung over them waiting for the next postal delivery that might contain a letter or even a postcard. Staying busy during the day kept the hovering horror in the shadows but once they retired to the quiet at bedtime, it swooped in like an unwanted specter.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely love this book!
Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2023
I LOVED this book! This was my first book by Anne Perreault and I absolutely was engrossed in the story! I am looking forward to the next book in the series; the little excerpt teaser already has me craving more of these characters.

This story is hard, it has such heartbreaking moments. It is a completely foreign culture to what I am used to reading about, but Anne handles the cultural differences in a way that is not condemning, just explaining with the perfect amount of details for a total understanding.

The Gospel is presented more than once and I actually cried a couple of times! The heartache is hard, but the redemption is glorious! God is glorified and honored throughout this story and it is beautiful!

I am looking forward to purchasing a physical copy of this book to grace my bookshelves and loan to friends and family who are searching for wonderful books to read.

I received an advance review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Quote from the Book:

“A man should never exert power over a woman to make her cower or hurt her physically or emotionally. That is not a measure of strength.”

Review:

Just finished reading The Love Penalty. It’s a Christian Romance Fiction. Yeah, it’s got the romance (clean romance!) but I love the growth of the characters written by Carolyn Miller. She’s an author that can always bring in relatable growth. Many feel out of place and lonely in a crowd. Carolyn Miller tells us the story of Sylvie, a young woman that has not felt the love of family, inclusion of true friends and questions where she fits in the world. She shows love in the only way she’s been taught to show it and faces rejection. It’s a journey to learning God’s love and where true self worth comes from.

I’m not the only one that struggles with the opinions of others. This book brought me peace and a reminder of where my worth is found. ❤️

Quote from the Book:

Quote: “But she wasn’t that girl anymore. The Bible told her so. And words of abuse could remain just words. She didn’t need to let them enter her soul.”

Interesting imagination!

Reviewed in the United States on 12 March 2023

This little gentleman is going places! First off, I am into mystery, thriller & suspense.

But I am thankful that I got into this book!

It was a different path for me but it was worth it! The characters were fun to imagine & follow along with all the tragedies & the twists that I never saw coming. I even had to re-read some of it to make it process in my brain that it happened! I felt bad for some of the characters, but sometimes it needed to happen! The ending is leaving me wanting to read the next book & I can’t wait for it!

You go Dylan!
