What’s on the share Today?? Reviews!!!

First of all, I’m super excited because I’ve gotten to read so much lately.

Look!!! Yay Me!!!

I’m not a super fast reader so I’m excited to be getting the reading done. Too bad I can’t stay up all night reading, my Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 job wouldn’t allow that and that’s okay.

Me during the day

I’m very thankful to have a job I love. Book blogging is just for fun and a way I can help authors get their books noticed a little bit more. (fingers crossed)

So what have I been reading?

The Boden Birthright (The Cimarron Legacy): A Cimarron Legacy Novella Released: May 3, 2016

Description

After the death of his wife, prosperous businessman Chance Boden heads west along the Santa Fe Trail with his son to escape the powerful control of his in-laws. He has plans to establish his own ranch, but instead he finds work with Frank Chastain, owner of a vast amount of land.

Chance doesn’t want to work for anyone, but Frank’s beautiful daughter, Veronica, gives him reason to delay buying his own holdings. With winter coming, no home in which to live, and Veronica’s offer to care for young Cole while Chance learns the ways of ranching in the desert, Chance has little choice but to accept the Chastains’ offer to stay on.

When Frank is attacked, his last wish is that Chance marry his daughter, but after dealing with his in-laws, Chance doesn’t want anyone coming between him and his son. Then, before Frank dies, his precarious hold on the land he received as part of an old Spanish Land Grant forces him to make a desperate choice to save Veronica’s inheritance–and also gives the men who attacked Frank a reason to come after his legacy.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I enjoyed this short story. The characters were welcoming, heartwarming, and loveable. I really liked watching the characters learn to trust each other and respect each other. I was saddened at times in this book (it’s true) and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Will their danger grow or be depleted? Can’t wait to start the next book.

**Even though this book is much older it was new to me and I enjoyed it.

With Love, Laine Released: June 20, 2022

Description

When Laine Warren, owner of Cripple Creek sawmill, is asked to build a library box for Ericka Mills he never thought it would lead to anything other than business. But when the proprietors of Cripple Creek hotel hold a fundraiser to raise money for the books to go in the library box, Laine’s broken heart is reignited for Ericka Mills.

Ericka Mills will only court a man who loves to read, looks like a gentleman and understands great literature and poetry as she does. Why should she settle for less?

Finding a written poem left in one of the books in the library box leads her to chase after the man she thinks is it’s author by writing him a letter. But will that lead her to the right man or the one who dresses the part? After all, looks can be deceiving… so don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ With Love, Laine…How I love thee. This was an outstanding story. I enjoyed all the characters and the location. Laine was just one of those guys that you immediately cared about and Ericka was a lovable character for me because of her love of and for books. Now I wanna know Ericka’s friend’s story and a past story from the hotel owners. I loved the entire idea of the Library box ❤️. One great thing about the author, Shonda Czeschin Fischer, is she’s descriptive and I love that because it brings this charming romantic story to life.

I receives a ARC copy of this book for my honest review. I loved it!!!

Description

What happens when an entire town becomes involved in a matchmaking scheme?

Evaline doesn’t know what to think when her mother volunteers her for the Bible club helper position. Henry never met anyone quite like Evaline Browning. The petite librarian volunteering as a Bible club helper is a lot of spunk in a small package. But the more he’s around her, the more he fears he’ll lose his heart. Could this be the woman God has planned for him?

Soon, Evaline and Henry find themselves caught in a matchmaking endeavor. Polls, well-meaning gossips, and more shenanigans ensue as the residents of Chokecherry Heights do their best to convince Evaline and Henry they’d make the perfect couple.

Travel back in time for a peek into the life of one of Chokecherry Heights’ most beloved characters.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an outstanding book. I loved all the characters and era of the book. I was brought to the past with this great story. Truly a blast from the past. Times I was giddy, times I also slap my head, times I laughed and times I got teary-eyed. I’m so glad I read this book today because today I had difficult times and this book lifted me up. So thankful for that. Penny Zeller is a very gifted author. I’d recommend this fun book to everyone. So excited to read more from this author.

If you enjoy fantasy and magic then you would enjoy this book. So far I’m loving the family bond 💙💖. Right now I’m kinda nervous and want to know what’s going to happen next.

Description

Magic is only for the worthy. The clerics. Join them, or your magic is forfeit.

Rinnen doesn’t give the shadowy clerics much thought. At least not until his sister, Kessandra, turns out to have the rare gift. Kessandra wants to keep her magic, but they won’t let her.

When the magic-removal ceremony takes more from his sister than just her special powers, Rinnen is devastated. But he’s just a fighter in training. What good is a sword against magic? How can a handful of ordinary elves fight such a sinister power?

Rinnen knows one thing. He wants his sister back. And he will do whatever it takes to save her.

That’s all for this Sunday’s post. Next Sunday I will be back with another author takeover!!!
